    Quick LVL 10 question

I have a small leak down the barrel, but I am not sure if it is a carrier leak or a shim leak. I remember somone mentioning that I should hold the trigger back, and if it still leaks it is one thing, and if it stops leaking it is another.

Well I pulled the trigger, held it in..

Air still drained out of the bolt for 1 sec, but once that was over it stopped leaking.. which should I change, the carrier or the shims?

In order to tell the difference between a carrier leak and a shim leak, always install the level 10 kit with no shims to start. If it leaks, you know its the carrier. Once you go to a smaller carrier and it doesnt leak, then add a few shims. I dont use many shims in my level 10 installations. You dont need them. Hope this helps

I just finally got my lvl10 to work right.. wow thats a great feeling...

Ive worked on this for days, its been very tough.. 2 tanks of air later..... (leaky tank + showing off sweetspotting with dryfiring = too much air)

Anywho, I think I got a more off-the-wall lvl10 set.. Here is my setup

Small spring (Which can get over 300fps, the middle spring is way too high, and the large is too big to even think about)

      Carrier #1 -- rather small

4 shims. Count em. 4. Im really surprised that it doesnt leak.. this is sweet.

Do many people have odd setups?

Make sure to keep all your carriers, after you use the lvl 10 for a while sometimes the small o-rings can wear down and not work as well. I have had my lvl 10 for a while (almost a year, I think) and this happened to me. Just a good idea to keep all stock/extra parts, you never know!
