    Can you put an emag valve in an automag

    Can you put an emag valve in an automag and go to town? Do you need to change anything?

      an emag valve is no different, then a retro or an X-valve

      besides weight and engraving

            Actually, I don't think you HAVE to, because I thought I heard something about EMAg on off pins being more reactive?

              Yeah, actually, they might be right about the on/off.

              I have an SFL Emag valve in my classic right now, but I bought it from Tuna, so he may have replaced the on/off before he sent it.

                well i have an emag valve on my minimag and it has the stock emag on/off

                it works fine

                  You may need a longer on/off pin. The stock emag is .712 and I think the stock ReTro is .736.

                    Standard ReTro/XValve on/off pin is 0.750".

                      You do need the longer on/off pin the gun will not fire w/ the short EMag pin.
