Centerfeed MM body high rise questions

Hello

As some of you know, im building a mag, I was wondering something about the MM centerfeed bodies

can i cut the neck down? and use like a straight elbow on it instead to make the neck shorter?

and will i need a special barrel for the C/F bodies?

Cutting the neck down may void your warranty, something most don't use anyway, and it may look a tad homemade, but I guess that would depend on how good you are. BradAGD takes them down to a no-rise, I'll try to find the thread for ya, but you can go to near the bottom of page 2 in My Mags page and see a nice one. You will also need a different barrel or have the grooves on yours milled, which some people here on AO were doing, to have it fit properly.:)
