Burst disk off a 3000 put on to a 4500?

I blew my burst disk on my 4500, and figured maybe I could just throw on my 3000's disk. Possible? Or will it burst at that pressure? I THINK I see 5000 etched into the burst disk, but I'm not sure that's what it says.

Should I subject a 3000 PSI bust disk to 4500 PSI......NO! Drop a couple bucks and get a new one. Unless it says clearly 5000 why risk wasting your Bdisk off your other tank. Besides chances are you have to go to the paintball store to get it filled anyway. Just have em replace the disk there.

Sure, just don't fill it above 3000. Just get another disk.

        i wouldnt risk it...

use burst disks rated for your tank, no larger, no smaller

these are the only things protecting you from 4500psi of pressure... if these badboys fail, your screwed

btw- did you get my pm?

erm, a 5k disk would work fine. Just be aware that they arent very accurate, so it might let go at 4500...

hell,. if anything, its safer than using the normal 7.5k disk.

Yeh, I'm 95% sure it says 5000 on the disk. I think Ill just put it on, no harm in trying, eh? It's just gonna go off if it's not supposed to be on there, right?

I wouldn't use any disk rated for less than 7500 on a 45k tank. You'll just end up wasting money on burst discs, which last time I checked weren't that cheap.
It came to a point in my life when it was either pay the rent or buy paintball gear. I think I made the wise choice. If anyoneone needs me I'm livin in a van down by the river.

Ok, I'll just get a new one. On this note though, If I was to buy a 4500 max flow reg, could I put my 3000 tank on it? Me+Air=N00b

he is dealing with 4500 in the proper manner. Asking for help. :-)

anyway, yes, you can, but be absolutely sure to tell the people only to fill to 3k. I do this with my backup 'geddon.
