    Honed Springs!!!!!!!!

What is a honed spring, what are its advantages over a regular spring?
They ship with the superbolt right?
Tom said this but it doesn't say anything about it on the AGD website

The superbolts will come with a honed spring. The honing removes all the burs and sharp edges from the spring, thus your superbolt will not wear as fast.

They should make a teflon coated spring!

FYI the super bolt does not come with a honed spring. There is a post from TK stating what needs to be done to your spring if you are buying or own a super bolt. I picked my bolt at the tour and had my existing spring honed there.

            Darren,

I believe Tom later said the next batch would have "honed" springs in them. The problem was not discoverd until after the first run. Seems all of AGD's prior testing was done with used springs which had deburred themselves from use on stock SS Bolts so they did not discover the problem until they sent out the first batch. So you would not have gotten a honed one with yours. But the next ones will.

Just use an old spring, if you have one around.
