    X-valve air use

Does the X-valve use more air than a normal mag valve because it has to shoot the pin back out?

The RT effect doesn't use any more gas than a classic mag. It does this b/c of the air flow patterns.

In a classic mag, the on/off pin head gets exposed to regulated pressure (450psi). In a RT/Xvalve, the pin gets full incoming tank pressure (800+). That's what gives the kick.

As for the efficiency, the Xvalve is less efficient than the classic b/c of the level 10. That's just how it works.
