Will a Classic sear assembly work with an X-Valve? Please answer quickly

I have a classic sear and an X-Valve, will it work or do you think it will chip quickly?

Depends on how old the sear is.

All the new ones are hardened.

Are you using a classic rail?

If the sear looks gold/yellowish you should be fine.
