this is like the 650th thread ive made in order to get my freakin ult and lx to work together... and i got it to the point where the carrier in the lx is the biggest that doesnt leak. but i still get bolt stick.

i put 2 shims in for the hell of it... and i got about 10 shots before bolt stick.

what exactly do the shims in the lx and the shims in the ult do? do they interact with each other?

add more shims, shims allow the bolt to vent i believe

shims change the point where the venting occurs, or at least thats what I got from the video that was on AO a while ago. I have been having similar problems, and in my caes, I finally ended up just changing hte oring I was using. Sometimes a particular oring can be malformed or defective, and that will screw up the whole rest of the process. Just keep track of the one you took out or the carrier, because if changing it makes the problem worse, then at elast you have that one to come back to.
