    => Impulse Electric Marker <=

Does anyone who has used or seen this marker in action have any input on it?

How does it perform? Is it good stock?

Does it perform well with Co2? Do you need any extras to use Co2?

If not will an anti-siphon help?

How would you rate it 1-10

I suppose this is the right forum, but that was a lot of unncessary ====>'s...

Cost factored in, I'd give it an 8. Too lazy to break it down, it works great stock on CO2.

        Impulse

I have seen one of these in action at a local field. The guy brought it out bone stock with an anti-syphon tank. It shot excellent on CO2. Great ROF, but it was awkwardly tall in the body. Check PBReview.com. I do know that Smart Parts recommends an anti-syphon though.

well... they recommend having an antisiphon tube for the obvous reasons... CO2 CAN freeze o-rings and if they break, u get leaks. So to be safe, thy recommend an antisiphon tube.

              Moserman,
Whatever you do, donot put a regular CO2 on their!

The Impulse is a very impressive marker, it can even be compared to a Shocker. Invest in a Anti - Siphon CO2 with On/Off, trust me, you will regret it if you donot.

anti-syphon would be the best for runnin c02, however mine has hpa, i recommend adding a worm trigger to it to take out the side to side play, the vision anti-chop eye for obvious reason, the upgraded solenoid, the delrin bolt which is easier on the paint, the new valve which is more gas eficient, the reg mounted in vertical position which reduces overal height of the marker and a freak barrel system. if all these mods are done the gun will perform a lot better than stock, for lesser $$$$ than angel, shocker and E-mag. I would like to try e-mag xtreem though, but there outta my budget at this time and i'm happy with my Imp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to pbnation.com under smart parts go to impulse and read up about it there.

I love impulse but to tall for me. Alot of my friends own them and they run great.

Anti-siphon is not needed but will help the max-flo run smoother and cleaner. They run at between 150 and 200 psi, very low pressure.

                          Great guns for the money!!!

ok, it is a triple stacked tube design, which i find very awkward. the stock trigger is very sloppy, and i recommend a worm mod trigger. an ACE is good, but not necessary. the impulse and shocker run fabulous on co2. you must have an on/off and an anti-siphon though. if you choose to run HPA, get an 88/4500 tank. the shocker and impulse love to eat gas. i would also recommend getting the max-flo reg in a vertical setup, so you can use it as a foregrip. the impulse is very quiet and fast. i give it 8.5/10 stars

Just curious.. why do you NEED an anti-siphon with on/off? Do you mean you really SHOULD have one, or you NEED one or you will blow your solenoid into 3 billion tiny pieces?
