    Micro E-Mag ADVICE

Problem: Ball detent on Micro E-mag was too weak therefore with a halo on top the gun would double feed past ball detent and break paint.

Solution: Used the spring from an Automag barrel twist lock assembly. This is a much stronger spring(actually had to cut three loops of the original), and will allow the halo to feed correctly w/out the double feeds!

If anyone has run into this and has any other advice I and some others am sure would be interested!

Interesting fix! What kind of detent was on your micro, a screw in one or the little back lever type? Also how did you get the twist lock apart?

It is the black lever type. The twist lock assembly has an allen screw on the bottom to retain the spring inside. Just unscrew it all the way out and the spring will follow. I just happened to be looking in my case and saw the extra one and gave it a try!
