AA reg rating??HELP

I have an older ss apoclyspse reg on my 45/3000 tank. I was wondering if i could just change the burst disc and then put a 68/4500 bottle on it? is the reg only made for 3000psi use? or can it handle 4500?? thanks

not pointless, need more shots out of my tank. and not expensive, just need a new tank, can get one for like 130

well ... it is possible ... like you said the burst disc would have to be changed and also the tank would have to be changed ... also RED loctite should be used when re-assemabling the tank to the reg

yeah, i'm asking if its possible to put my reg on a 4500 tank. is it safe? after i change the disk?

yes .. but the spring might need to be changed in the reg ..
