    Really Really Bad Efficency

My setup is in my sig. I've been having horrible consistency lately. I'm getting 400 shots from a 68/3K. My input pressure is around 800.

Would a rebuild help efficency? Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Mostly paint... let's say 80% paint and 20% dry fires. Also, it chronoed in at 280 (+/-5) without any trouble.

Paint/barrel shouldn't effect efficency (drastically). Neither should the LX (I think). All I can figure is that I have something blowing off too much air in the reg. The reg looks to be in good shape to me, but I could be missing something.

LX can have a large impact on efficiency. Running the short spring and a the loosest carrier that doesn't leak will give you the best efficiency.

Honestly- sounds like a leak. Gas it up and dunk it in water (so long as it's not an Emag). Could be from anywhere- the tank included.

That's good to know, I'll double-check it. Also, as soon as I get home, I'll put the baby under water!

That is very true w/ the LX and L7 bolts I got about 150 more shots w/ the L7 at around 285fps than the LX at around 280fps. Both tests were done using a nitro duck X stream 68/45 filled to about 3800 both times.
