    Emag Battery not charging...

My Emag battery refuses to charge anymore. I plug it in and the light just stays green even when the battery is dead. I tried to jiggle the plug around and it turns red for about a minute but then it turns back to green. Anybody have ideas?

Are you sure the battery is dead? If you probe the terminals with a volt meter, what is the voltage, it should be around 18? Also you can use the same voltmeter to probe the charger to make sure it's outputting the proper voltage, again about 18 volts.

First off , how old is the battery? If you have a volt meter and your getting a very low voltage, you may have a few dead cells in the battery not letting the battery charge all the way.Nickel metal hydides have a tendancy of some cells going bad so you should check into it more. Also check like what was already stated about the charger putting out enough juice to charge your battery. If the battery indicater on the emag is not showing low battery it could already be fully charged. My battery at full charge shows 18.8 volts on the meter.
