    x valve probs

    alright, i just finished buildin my mag, and am having some problems with the xvalve/ult.. the trigger is sticking alot.. i tried turning up the velocity but it just made leaks inside the valve..should i mess with the velocity more or what?

    How many shims do you have in the X-Valve power tube? Try using two. If you have too many shims it could cause bolt stick. Also check your carrier (brass piece that holds the o-ring). If it's too tight it could cause problems too.

      The leak could also mean that your carrier is too large, try the 1.5 carrier. (one stripe/one dot)

        i messed with the velocity..seems to have worked for now...i'm playing tommorrow i'll see how it goes thanks anyway

          it worked fine but after i cleaned it the same problem happened again... the valve hisses and leaks a little air after each shot..any more advice?

              somewhere inside the valve i cant tell... sometimes it just hisses a little after each shot

                Pull and hold the trigger. Does the leak stop?

                Put your finger into the breech and up against the bolt. Push the bolt. Does it stop or does it change tone?

                  now i have most of the leaks stopped, the bolt is still sticking though

                    Try removing 1 shim at a time until it stops sticking.

                      well i narrowed down the macroline leaks to 1 piece, which i have to replace before i can keep messing with it...i'll get it tommorrow.
