ASA screw not wanting to turn....

I have a minimag, and the screw that goes into the vertical ASA doesn't seem to want to come out.

Do they use loctite on this screw at the factory?

Should I put some heat on it and then try?

Or should I just be a man and twist harder

The reason I want to take it off is to flip it backwards, so the steel braided line is on the right instead of the left.

I need to do this because I got a new minimag valve, and the quick male quick disconnect thing is on the right... as my old one was on the left...

Is there another way to solve this problem? or should I flip over the ASA like I was going to?

    Thanks!

Try harder. If it ever rounds out the allen key head, just grind it down flat again. There are other solutions but you would most likely lose both the screw and allen wrench forever or cause damage to your rail.

Taking mags apart is fun, its even more fun when you don't know what you're doing

I just decided to use the valve from one assembly and the reg from another.

I hope mixing and matching works!
