Define bolt stick for me -

This might be a stupid question, but the search didn't show what I need to know.

I have read a lot about bolt stick. My problem (after ULT install) is that the bolt will not reset fully - it stops just before the sear engages. I can push it back about 1/16th of an inch and it clicks in place.

Is that bolt stick, or is bolt stick when it won't return at all?

Sounds correct to me. Typically when your spring is not strong enough (either the wrong length or simply fatigued from use) the bolt has issues seating itself. It also affects the ease of rapid-fire (since you asked )
