    Bumper wearing down

I did a search on this, but didn't exactly find the answers im looking for. After about 1k+ shots thru my Xvalve w/ ULT, the Clear bumper is nearly destroyed. I would expect it to wear down, but not as fast as it seems to be. Is there a certain cause for the wear down, like does "chuffing" make it wear down faster, or is it simply firing. I have but chuffing quite a bit trying to get used to my ULT, but dont know if it is just firing the marker that wears it down. Also, I read in a post to use the blue bumper from a classic if the clear gets ruined. Is this just so that you have a bumper, or is this because the blue can actually tolerate more? I have a blue bumper and wondered if I should use that or just order a few more clear bumpers. Any answers would be appreciated.

Dry firing it will wear down the bumper faster.

You CAN use the blue, but it'll give more kick.

    Order more clears. :)

OK, that explains alot, I have been dry firing it alot to get used to the ULT and adjust it and everything. I know the blue gives more kick, but would it also last longer?

      Thanks

glue the clear ones down, they last a lot longer when glued.
