    2003 RT Custom Sight Rail

Just bought a RT Custom with ule body and ultra lite triger. WHAT AN AMAZING GUN!! One question - the sight rail seems cosmetic. Outside of looks is there any reason to leave it on the gun?? As designed it makes it harder to sight down the barrel. Comments appreciated.

nice gun if this is ur first agd gun, i hope you like agd guns as much as i do. anyways....Yea, the sight rail doesnt really do anything. If you take the sight rail off put the screws right back in the holes, it makes it look better then just empty holes, just my 2 cents.

      sight rail

      Hey,

I just got my Custom ULE Rt the other day. First thing I did was lose the sight rail. It is just for looks unless you like sighting through your hopper. HA HA...

Make sure you put the screw back in to fill the holes and so you don't loose them. Also, hang on to the sight rail as you may need it if you ever sell it.

Also, per Tom at AGD, they are going to start making it an option as soon as they sell all the rails that were made with holes in them. They have about 1000 left.

        reply

thanks for the reply, just wanted to make sure I was not missing something in removing the rail - this is actually my third AGD (lvl7, RT pro and the current). Upgrade to the Rt Pro was disappointing as it did not radically change rate of fire. The ultralite trigger is extremely fast (up to 10bps or higher) and the ULE body combined with the x valve is very light. More dependable faster rof and great accuracy - what more can you ask for!!
