    My X-Mag is being bad!

Ok while just shooting the tigger on my X-Mag (2.4), the gun will just shut off.

Turn if off and turn it back on nothing.

If I rap lightly on the grips right above the led screen it will come back on. If that doesn't work I have to remove the grips and unscrew the bottom screw holding the bottom of the board in and that will turn the gun back on.

Does anybody know what could be doing this, loose wire? bad ground?

I had the same problem. Turned out to be the power connections needed to be tightened.
Dis-assemble the marker and check ALL of your power connections.

Try tightening the grounding screw right above the LED display as well as the one above the battery connection (under the ACE board).

Take off the battery and look at the positive battery terminal on the grip frame. You'll see it's a screw that you can tighten. Take off the body and you'll be able to see a nut on the top side. make sure that there is a white nylon insulator on BOTH sides of the screw and that the screw is tight.

Next thing you should do is get a tap and run it through the hole for the board hold down screw. I believe it's a 6-32 thread. Don't hold me to that, though. If you don't have a tap, you can always use a dremel with a wire brush wheel and clean off the anno on the top surface of that mount point. If you do this, be sure to be extra careful when you put the board back in and make sure the buttons are pushed all the way in their holes and make sure the white tabs on the board don't snag on the buttons and break.

Thanks for the all the help people. I'm using it tommorrow for a practice.

It's going to go to AGD after that for 3.2 and to figure out what the problem is. Needs a good looking over anyways.

            Thanks again.
