Do you need an adjustable? Do you have a retro-valve or plan to get one?

Man, I've had or known people that have Rators and other Air America products. While they have good flow rates and a pretty good warranty if they ever spring a leak you will never get them fixed. After one leak is taken care of another will start. Go with the PMI tank. PMI just makes great quality stuff. Have you considered any Nitro Duck tanks? I now swear by Nitro Duck, those things are awsome.

I am with you on the AA thing. I had a vigilante reg (leaked out of the box) and a 68ci 4500 psi raptor rex (leaked after a month) I now have a 68ci 4500 psi mega reg nitro duck and love it to death.

I 'almost' bought an 88/4500 Centerflag... and I've been eyeing the PMIs since they're so cheap and work well... and I would be peachy-keen with a non-adjustable tank for my EMag. But, I decided to hold off and see what the 4500 Flatline was going to cost. I like my 68/3000 a lot, I'd love to have its 4500 brother.

Hey miscue, check out tne new PMI tank, with an adj. reg, and 5000 p.s.i., i think that would be a better system, more air and more variety on adj. response to valve.

I don't know about the 5000 psi tank. Where would you get it filled. Some places can't even fill up to 3000 psi let alone 5000. Is it really worth it?

It's not on the poll but you may want to consider the Crossfire 68 4500, 850psi output preset. Just received it but have'nt had a chance to use it yet. This also has the new Carleton tank with the 5yr hydro time. Will be using it on the mag when I get it working. Bought it on ebay for $170 delivered. Crossfire also has a preset 68 4500 at 450psi delivery for LP guns. I use a 68 4500 adjustable Conquest on the cocker matched to a Sidewinder and get excellent shot to shot consistency of + or - 2fps every time. Sidewinder regs it down to 200psi shooting 285fps. I hope the Crossfire will give same fps consistency for the Mag. As I believe an adjustable reg won't be necessary.

You will still be able to fill the 5000, you just wont be able to fill it all the way. it sounds kinda lame, but it still a good deal and instead of a preset its adjustable. Also you mentioned a 4500 setup, same thing as 5000, but less room, if ya get this one filled at place where they fill 3000's you wont get a full tank, but it will still operate the same.Good luck !!!!!!!!

Since you plan to upgrade to a retro valve within a year definately go with an adjustable tank. Have you put a flatline tank completely out of the running? They are built like rocks, are light, adjustable and backed by AGD. They also come with their own dropforwards. Not many fields in my area will fill to 4500 psi anyway so make sure this is a feature you will be able to take advantage of.

As a cost effective alternative to an adjustable tank, the Crossfire 68 stub metal screw in 3000 psi tanks are nice. They only need a hydro every 5 years I believe and I think they are pre-set at around 850 psi output.

Depends on how much $$ are you willing to spend!!! I like my Centerflag 68/45k system!! Also you might want to look into MacDev Conquest system, they are a bit on the pricey side, but all my friends who have them can't stop raving about it!!!

I own the 88ci 4500 PMI and it works great, I have no shoot down and it fairly light.
