    Leak Question

Well, my mag had been leaking out the barrel, and I couldn't find out what was wrong w/ it, so I took it to the house of the guy who sold it to me. He took it totally apart and didn't find any broken o-rings or anything suspicious, and he looked at the grip and saw that the trigger pin was up where the saftey should be(he didn't have it on when he sold it to me). He said that that was the problem and that if I just put it down, it won't leak anymore. Would this cause the gun to leak out the barrel? Thanks for the help, I've been wondering for a long time.

the saftey could be pushing the sear into the on of valve and causing it to slightly leak

          Actually...

If it's a level 10 equipped mag, change the carrier down a 1/2 size.

If it's a level 7, go to a shorter spacer in the powertube.

My LX Retro valve has been leaking as well, but only after a few unfred rounds. It works fine all day then seems to start leaking after 500-600 rounds. If I put osm epressure ont he trigger it seems to stop the leak, so I thought it was an on/off problem, but there is nothing wrong with my on/off. ANy suggestions?

              Move down a half size on the carrier. If you're at a 1.5, go to a 1. If you're at a 1, go to a .5.

Its a level 7, and I thought about the spacer, but it worked fine just the way it was for the other guy...does it just change, or would that not be the problem?

My first suggestion is to replace the oring under that spacer. Just b/c the oring isn't broken doesn't mean it hasn't gone bad or worn to the point that it'll leak.

If that doesn't solve it, the shorter spacer should fix it.

you guys dont get it. He's saying it leaked WHILE the sear pin was all the way up in the safety. He fixed that and hasnt gassed it up yet, and wants to know if it should work when it gasses up, or if that wasnt the problem. I believe that was the problem. And when the sear is set right, the on/off pin will be in the right position, so there wont be a leak
