i need a little help

im completely retarded when it comes to mags. i was switching my l7 bolt and putting in an lx and when i was outting it in this little piece kept falling out. its hard to describe. there are 4 holes on the bottom of the valve and if the spring is faceing left and ur looking at the holes the little piece is cooming out of the first hole. actually its the only hole that has anything in it.the piece is hinda I shaped and it has holes in the middle of it. it just falls out and i dont remember it doing this before. its the very top piece. so im wondering if im missing a piece or does it need an oring or something. i would apreciate some help please

use a diagram

i would suggest that you look at one of the many millions of diagrams available for the mag. match the peice that you are looking at to a part name... go from there... many people here know how to fix EVERY mag issue, but few of them can understand "thing, hole, and that one" mean in the context of your problem... hope you can help us help you...
