    warp feed question

I don't own a warp feed, but am curious to try one. Can I buy a used one and expect the same performance or do they wear out. Do I need to order the warp ULE body or is the vertical feed ULE fine for testing out if I will like it or not. Please help, where I live nobody has one of these to even look at. Thanks in advance.

I've only bought used warps and they've always worked fine for me, you just have to add fresh battery(ies).

As for the body, if you're not sure if you'll like the warp then I'd stick with whatever body you currently have until you decide if you like it or not. Escpecially considering that the warp ule might require you to modify your body rail to get it to work.

A small thread jack here (but relevant)...

Does anyone have a URL or thread for step by step instructions on disassembling and cleaning a warp? I just purchased a used one that looks like it could use a good cleaning....

there really arent' any instructions. Just unscrew the 4 bolts that hold the halves together, just be careful when you take it apart that you put it back together the same way.

Here's the warp blow up diagram: http://www.airgun.com/downloads/warpexploded1.pdf

i wouldnt spend money on one... find a guy who has one and ask him to let you hold it and let you shoot his gun... i dont see any reason in paying lots of money for stuff you may not end up liking

after all, i hate my warp
Yummy yummy yummy, I've got fun in my tummy.

The trouble is there is no one locally that has one for me to try out. I want to order a custom RT as soon as possible but I can't seem to decide on which body, Warp ULE or normal ULE. I already have a normal ULE body, but if the warp body makes a big difference in the use of the warp feed maybe that would be enough that I would prefer it over no warp feed.

Well if you already have a vertical ULE then get the warp and if you don't like it you can always sell the warp and the warp body. However remember that to properly used the warp ule you will have to modify the RT rail.

I would strongly reccomend trying the warp on the vert body first: for overall use the difference is minimal. If you decide you like the warp then you can do the mods to switch to the warp body which will tighten your set up even more.
