    RT mod

A friend of ours ground down the length of his on/off pin. It went from slight runaway to full runaway. It was fun shooting it. Look at the link for a video.
RT w/LV10, Stock trigger frame, HALO, and 900psi input.

It happened at my house. However, it wasn't my marker. We know that it isn't a good idea at all, but it was still fun for a few minutes. I'm working on posting the videos.

shame it's not up now. I was wondering if they were faster than my videos (or if you are shooting paint)....

            Yes

We are shooting paint in both videos. The second one you can see it splattering on the wall if you look close. I think your RT is faster than ours, just a guess. Someone should analize the sound clip to see what the rate of fire really is. It would be nice to know for referance.

                Woops!!!

I thought by putting them there everyone could get to them, but I guess yahoo has changed things. E-mail me and I will send both vids to whoevey wants to see them. Sorry, next time I will come up with a better solution.

Just look for vid 1 and 2 in the folder. If it fails, LMK.

Shame you wrecked your pin, seeing as how you could have done that without actually fileing down the pin.

                      The whole story

The guy that owned the marker said that he needed a new on/off pin because he modified his on/off pin and now it doesn't work. He actually sanded it down. So, I went through my parts and found .765 long pin. We replaced the pin and the marker acted normally with the new pin. The owner was a little upset because he couldn't fire the marker as fast a he used to. After thinking a little, I remembered that I had the .750 long pin that came with my X-valve. We then replaced the .765 pin with the .750pin and that is when the marker just took off. We shot the video and I recommended that he put the .765 pin back in the marker because the short on/off pin will cause the sear and bolt to wear out quickly.

I believe that the second video is a little more impressive, because you can watch the hopper just empty whe nI find the sweet spot on the trigger.
