how come you can't use a classic valve

I was just wondering has anyone tried to use a classic valve in an emag?

    On/off pin length for starters.

    Classic is a .750.

    Emag is either a .712 or .728.

There have been several emags with classic valves in them. It can be done. Its not gonna recharge as quick as you would want but it can be made to shoot. And shoot pretty well actualy. Just not at real High rates of fire very well... I know of one emag for certain that was built with a Classic valve.

As Day points out you would have to change the pin.... and then the question would be.... why bother to build one like that?

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

I think at least one AOer's emag had that setup. Unfortunately it was stolen.
