    retro valve question

i have 3 mags. zgrip mag with a stock am valve and a retro valve. the retro mag is fine. i can gas it up with the trigger pulled, release and no problem. if i don't have the trigger pulled, then it'll sputter out the front a little. i just push the bolt in with a straight shot and it stops. the zgrip mag is fine, shoots pretty good. i tried putting the retro valve in the zgrip and i couldn't get it to work. it would sputter like it would on the other gun with the trigger still out, but when i pusshed the bolt back and it would stop, i would try and fire and it would just go back to doing it again. i tried a shorter spacer but that didn't work. i replaced the pt o ring and it still does it. like i said, it works fine on the other mag, it just won't work with the zgrip. is it just tolerances or is there something else i can try that i'm not thinking of?

Try rubbing a drop of paintball gun oil into the Power Tube O-Ring, thats worked for me on occasion, seems they get too dry and dont seal on the bolt pin, oiling the gun through the ASA doesnt seem to want to get to that o-ring it seems.... thats what ive found at least *shrugs*

i figured it out. the little sleeve that went in the slot where the back field strippable screw goes in. it goes in the whole in between the rail and the grip. the valve was backing out of the frame without it hence causing a leak.
