    RT Pro not firing

New gun, LX inside, X-Valvem, ULE/ULT

Currently, the gun airs up and the trigger pin pops out like it should, but when I pull the trigger, nothing happens. I turned the velocity up to see if that would correct the problem, but nothing. The trigger has a spongy feel to it.

    Any ideas?

Is it a brand new X-Valve? I had to crank mine a couple full turns to get it to fire so make sure you turned it up enough. If the pressure is good, switch to a larger carrier or switch to a shorter spring and see if that helps.

Possible sticking reg assembly pin. Oil it directly. And also oil the on/off pin and move it back and forth a few times to free it up and break in those orings. New ones are tight and stick a good bit early on. And that reg pin assmebly is often dry and hard to get oil on by anything but direct application. Take the back half off and pull that and oil it good. It will fire right back up I betcha! Eventually this will wear in good and this will not be that big an issue.

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

How many shims are in the ULT?

What spring are you using in the LX?

Switch to the gold spring for the LX and put in at least 4 shims in the ULT.

          having same problem

          Hey,

I have a new custom ULE RT pro. I have had the same problems especially when it's really cold.

I am not sure why but I have found two things that help. If it's really cold, try holding the marker in front of you car vents with the heat on. Also, you may have the screw that holds the valve to the grip to tight. Air up the marker and if it still does this, loosen the screw just a little bit and see if the trigger pin pops back out. THis may be the same thing cphilip is talking about.

          hope this helps.
