lvl 10 springs question

Just a question, how do I tell which springs are lighter and which are heavier in the lvl 10 kit. My velocity is too high, and I'm using the short gold one. Thanks for your help guys!

also, squeeze them and the harder they are to compress, the more force the bolt needs to push against it
