Dying Hogue Grips

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but I did a search and couldn't find anything. I've got a Classic Mag here and it's got the wrap around style rubber Hogue grips on it. My question is, can you Rit dye these? I'm assuming you could get some dye, a pot, and do the heat and color thing just like Revvy shells. However, I'm not sure if the rubber material will keep it from accepting the dye. Any info is appreciated.

Since its already black, you wont really notice the dye. But you can do it...
