intelly problem

i went to my radio shack and was unable to find the specific cable needed. I ended up buying "headphone extension cord" pt # 42-2562
will i run into any problems with this.... i haven't sliced it open yet so i don't know if it has the same wiring.

I believe its stereo and not monoaurial or whatever....

no as long as its a 2 wire connnector you will be fine. I dont use the 1 they recommend either. I had at first but the plug is weak and broke so I went to something with a bit more durability. Mine is sort of like an rca plug. Just pay attention to your wire colors at the board and switch to make sure your hooked up right or it will work backwards. LOL I tried it to see what would happen.
