For one thing you should not have a PT oring anymore if you got Level 10

To get the carrier out use your field strip screw and screw it in there and it will catch the oring in the carrier and pull the whole thing out. THis is after you have unscrewed the tip of course

But all you should have in the bottom is the washer. Not a PT oring anymore.

YOu need to review your Level 10 set up proceedures and stuff because your concluding something based on the old PT oring and spacers and not on level 10 carriers. Your issue is level 10 set up. Most likely carrier size is too lose and possibly spring to velocity balance even....and even could be some On off sticking issues. But put PT oring and bolt stick out of your mind for now and go about resetting up your level 10. If there is a power tube oring down in there then you need to get it out. Flat hard Washer only. Then carrier with its oring in it and them tiny metal spacers if needed. Two spacers to start with.

No most likely you should remove the oring from the inside of the carrier that is in there and locate the next smallest carrier and reuse that same oring in that next smallest carrier. Thats a start. Make sure you got two tiny metal washers in there and also make sure that flat hard plastic washer is down in the bottom first. Try that.

Remeber there are two orings on every carrier. The black sealing one on the outside edge and the white inner one. The inner one you want to reuse on the next smallest carrier.

Look at the carrier you take out. See what markings it has. If its for example one line and one dot then the next smallest one would be the one with one line only on it. The Dot is half sizes and the lines are full sizes. Example: Two lines is the #2 carrier. Two lines and a dot is the #2.5 carrier. And so on...

bah......it took a socket wrench to take off the powertube tip (blue loc-tite maybe?) and now my washers aint coming out with any degree of easyness....im beginning to question the integrity of my proshop....i grip onto it with the threads, pull really hard....and it just slips out...any tricks i should know cphillip?

okay, i finally got it out (got dads shotgun cleaning kit and used a really thin dowel) and now i need to know in what order everything goes back in....or do the washers go before or after the carrier

It should not be on there with anything. No lock tight or anything. It should be tight but not THAT tight. It should take a wrench though

Your not twisting it in there enough. TWIST like your screwing it in there. then pull. Its tight in there.

okay......got it, now im on the carrier with nothing on it (the carrier i had running had only 1 dot on it, no lines. should i have mentioned it was working fine for about 6 months before this happened)

                what goes first...carrier or washers?

                  Order is this

Flat backing washer. White one first

then your carrier - white oring side down - helps to use a ball point pen to seat it It will POP in. Takes some force to get it to snap down in there.

then little silver washers - becarefull not to bend - make sure they are laying flat so they do not get bent on next step...

                  then PT tip - snug

You should have... but its neither here nor there now. Its possible for it to take that long to break in. Its more dependent on how many shots its seen that time....

Make sure your using the same Oring out of that last carrier in this new one... Very important that you use that "used" one this time.

Well your not from what I hearing from you

Now take that oring out of the back of that old carrier and put it in your new carrier

And reassemble according to that list I just gave you.
