    Cracked gauge?

Somehow I mannaged to crack the gauge on my little 48/3000. The whole face is cracked off showing the internals. I dont know how it happend and no air leaked.
So my question is, would it be all right to fill it up again? Will air leak or does the pressure not run in the gauge?
    thanks

Take that to your local airsmith and get the gauge changed right away. I highly doubt that any shop would even fill it. The gauges are pretty cheap, so just get it changed for your own safety. It probably wouldn't be bad if filled, but I wouldn't chance it.

don't worry about it. A cover doesn't retain any pressure it just prevents damage to the needle which prevents over filling which is where the real danger would be. you can make a cover or get a new one. If the needle looks damaged get a new one.
