    Bumper Question

Does it matter what bumpers for the bolt that you use? Because the bumpers on retro valves are crappy and wear out quicker than the hard blue ones used on classics, so right now I am using a classic valve bumper on my Emag. Will this cause any problems down the road? With the classic bumper the gun is shooting just as good as it was with the retro bumper.

It will cause premature sear wear. I glue down the bumper with the glue in my sig. It doesn't wear anywhere near how it wears without gluing it down.

Nice idea to glue it, so it is not coming on and off of the surface. The first bumper in my X-Mag was with cracks around the inside hole, i replaced it.
What type of glue did you use?
        Thank's BlackVCG!

How does that cause sear wear? Is it because with a worn bumper the bolt doesn't sit right?
