The bottom of older Retros can be reworked to allow for the 2 orings needed to use an ULT kit. Hopefully you have some nice equipment because I'm pretty sure if you're a little off you're gonna have a useless valve on your hands.

I have a quality drill press and am familiar with operating it, if nothing else i know a guy who has a machine shop. I was just wondering how much needed to come out?

do not use a drill press. the valve modding needs to be performed on a millinh machine with very tight tolerences, with an end mill, to provide a flat surface at the bottom of the hole. --Dave
