my maxxy seems to be acting up with my emag. Mags are suppose to be very consistant but my maxxy is not with it. Everytime I shoot the gauge moves up then down. What should i do? ALso is there a way to clean it? Also the knob is very hard to turn. ANy suggestions?

I too have a maxxy 68/3k and have always found the valve system on those systems to be horrid. I have resorted to using grip cloth or even tools to turn off my tank. Even with the valve closed, it still seems to leak air when stored.
As for consistency, I would look at your reg-seat. Replace if it looks worn. (in your AIR valve). If that is fine, then I would look at the maxy. Get a rebuild kit right from SP though. I installed an aftermarket rebuild kit and had nothing but troubles with blown seals and irradic behavoir.
