X-Power Module to Halo B help

I have the x-power module installed on my warp feed being fed from my x-mag. I am trying to get it to power my Halo B as well, but I cannot get it to work. I have regulated the voltage going to the Halo down to a little over 9volts (measured). It is actually less voltage than coming from the 6AA pack. Now, when I turn on the Halo, the LED blinks green 3 times, then starts flashing red until I turn it off. Anyone know what that means? Any other help?
    Thanks

Did you measure the 9 volts, going to the Halo, with the Halo hooked up and turned on? The regulator may not be able to supply the current required by the Halo.

That is what I was thinking from the start. I'm thinking I might have to go straight from the battery.

When measuring the voltage while on, it drops down to 5.xxV at turn on, then to a little under 9. the AA's don't drop down that much.
Anyone else have some suggestions/insight on this?
      Thanks
