    Need Help With Trigger

I just got a mag with a benchmark single trigger frame. The trigger frame is just too long on it. I know u have to have a long pull to get a light pull (unless u have ULT), but is there any way to change the benchmark to a short but hard pull (like on the stock automag frame) without buying a new frame. I used a normal frame on my old automag and i liked the feel of that trigger much more than the benchmark. Can i just change the actual trigger? or is there something else i have to do. Or is there anything i can do at all. I just need a shorter pull without having to buy a whole new frame.

You can try doing a trigger stop so that you are not pulling the trigger longer than you have to, however you need some additional backtravel to make sure the sear clears the bolt.

This may be to advanced for you,but if you take the sear out, remove the trigger rod connector from the sear. Drill an identically sized hole about 3/16" closer to the pivot point on the sear,re-install the trigger rod.You may have to adjust the trigger rod to make sure it is about 1/32" to 1/16" away from the trigger when aired up.

That will do what you want. But beware, the sear is hardend steel and is tough to drill with out the proper bits.

If you don't like it that way,you can just put it back in the original hole and no harm done.
