    It's all personal preference.

Kermode Concepts (K-C Trouble Free) is what I use now. Prior to that I had used Gold Cup.

    They're both perfectly fine.

I use Gold Cup oil. You can buy it at any paintball store.
WANTED: Y-Grip in good condition. X-Valve, or Retro Valve. PM me if you're selling one.

Gold cup isn't too great, go with the KC. I think BlackVCG was using shock oil for RC cars too.
Just stay away from petrolium based oils and you should be ok.

I mean what kind of oil, not the brand of oil. Would 3-in-1 or WD-40 work is what i mean. The paintball store sells one ounce for 5 bucks and that is a huge rip off for a bit of oil. Would anything i get from home depot be safe for the o-rings??

Thanks for all the other responses too.

No they would not be ok, they're petroleum based and will eat the o-rings. You need a synthetic oil.

An ounce of oil usually lasts a long time, like a year or more, so shelling out 5 bucks a year to help out your local store isnt that big of a deal.

              WD-40 or 3 in 1 = death to o-rings.
