    Air leak Retro Valve

Hi all, new to forum and just getting back into paintball. I have a minimag with a rtvalve and level 10 that I installed. I got the level 10 in and had a leak thru the rear velocity adj. hole. I changed the reg and no more leak thru the back. Now the thing is leaking at the front half of the valve (valve black and steel). The vent hole is continuiously leaking. I've followed the instructions on cleaning and replacing..I did all that and still have a leak. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What do you mean you changed the reg?

Now, does the leak stop when you pull and hold the trigger or does it still gush air?

Sorry, regulator piston assembly. That took care of the leak in the rear vent hole.

Still leaks air thru the front portion of the valve assembly vent or weep hole.

no, when the trigger is pulled the valve operates (shoots) but still leaks out of the vent hole.

When you pull and hold it? Or just shooting? Cuz when you pull and hold the trigger, there should be no air going into the valve. If you get a leak holding the trigger, you're on/off assembly is to blame.

when i hold it in it still leaks. I've replaced the on/off top and bottom and o rings. Is it possible that the pin is bad? Or could I have a bad o-ring?

You could have bad orings, yes. Or could be missing one.

Also, if you have calipers, check the length of the pin- should be a .750. Make sure it isn't bent or the wrong length.

okay. I'll change, grease and make sure all o-rings are there. I'll also check the pin for bend and length. thanks much for the help. Hope to be up and running soon.
