68 Automag Classic Feedtube Cut Down?

Can I cut down the feed tube on my 68 Automag Classic without any negative effect? I want to decrease my profile.

yep. just make sure you have a nice saw and you do it cleanly. also, leave room for an elbow to go on all the way.

Tubing cutter and a dremel or file. I cut my old one down and drilled a few holes around the base too let off blowback. It worked better than my power feed mag!!

Make sure to rock the getto body like a pro, i wouldnt have it any other way

Thanks for the advice. I also am thinking about milling off the grooves on the underside of the main body near the trigger. I want to make the marker as light as possible. My next upgrade should be the new lighter trigger for the x valve.
