    Z-Grip and fore-grip extender

I have a mag with a Z-grip and want to put a KAPP foregrip extender on it but it looks like the Z-grip would get in the way of the extender. I was wondering if you have to cut off some of the forgrip extender to get it to fit.

        Dear Black...
I got my hands on a dremel recently and was wondering if I could do the filing or whatever with that instead of the hacksaw and file. I was just running this by you if you thought this was wise because some people really hate dremels. I figured I was gonna use the drum sander dilly attachment and file away? What are your two cents?

You can use a dremel to cut the notch out. I just prefer hand tools since I'm more able to control what I'm doing and can get it to a near perfect fit without taking off any excess material. You can get a bit over zealous with a dremel and end up taking off more than you wanted to. You cn always take off more material later, you just can't put it back if you go too far.

              black is right

be careful with the dremel...major, i used the little cutting wheels (went through 3 of em) to do the job...dont push too hard with the dremel...cut a little, test for fit, cut a little, test for fit....

              p.s. EXCELLENT pics black!

I did all of my work with a hack-saw and a flat needle file.
