    Switching E and X boards?

My X comes tomorrow in the mail, but it's got 2.x My E has 3.2 Can I just unplug everything and switch the boards or is it more complicated than that?
If it changes anything, my E is pretty old, one of the first 300. Thanks for the help.

You'd need to either remove the entire innards, or un-solder the noid from the board and switch them.

You can switch everything; there is no difference between boards. You can leave the solenoid on the board also. But you need to unsolder the power and ace wires from the X-mag board.(and solder them back on the emag board)

While I am fairly confident with soldering, I don't want to risk anything. I'll just wait til I can get it reflashed.
