    crossfire regs.

    hey guys.

i own a 68ci 4500psi crossfire tank and love it.

I own a emag as well and also know that for better consistency you are supposed to use a lower input pressure.

well, my consistency has been acting up and would like to go ahead and try and get my pressure dropped

I have heard that some companys will actually drop your output pressure on thier preset tank.

does anyone know if crossfire will do this for me? if so, what is the best input for an emag?

    thanks

If you are talking about getting your Crossfire set to LP, don't do it. E-Mags run off high pressure...800+.

Yeah i am talking about getting it set to LP. not 450 psi, but 600-700 like it says @ airgun.com. The rail screams at you 600-800 psi.

i know for a fact i was shooting a hyperflow @ 750psi, and my consistency was great.

i switched to me crossfire @ 850 psi, and not so great.

I am not blaming it totally on the crossfire, it wasn't great paint, but the website clearly says, lower input for more consistent shots.

They can run 1t 700. I was just saying, don't go lower than that.

if you are seeing a large jump in shot to shot consitantcy it may not have anything to do with your tank's output. Do yourself a favor, next time you are out buy really fresh good paint. see what that does for you...

I think crossfire only makes those 2 springs for their reg, a high and a low. There is no in-between. Somebody asked this over on PBn and the crossfire tech over thre answered him. He's over there in their air system forum alot.
