question on LX, Classic Valve and Reg Pistons

Does anyone have any idea if newer classic mags have the higher pressure reg piston for LX in them already? if so around what Serial Number did this start? I have to determine if I need to get a new reg piston for my classic if I want to put LX in it.

you dont always have to replace the regpiston. I have a fairly older classic valve with the stock regpiston and it works just fine. get the LX and if you need a regpiston to solve a leaking issue, then get it (or just get a replacement right off, they are only $12)
