    micromag?

my friend just bought a micromag that has a barrel that wont come out. Is there any whay to get it out. Is it locktited in or is is totally impossible to get out. Can it be machined to accept new barrels.

    thanks

The older MicroMag bodies were all one piece. I'm not sure when they switched to cocker threads (i think it was 2k1). You might be able to get it machined, but it would probably be more cost effective if you friend just bought a used P/F body and barrel.

That's correct, first gen Micros were machined as barrel and body in one peice. Don't waste your time trying to "mod" it to accept other barrels.Find a newer body or different body if changing barrels is important to you.

The one-piece micromag bodies were manufactured in the 90's. You can't take the barrel off.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
