    ----Impulse Question----

They say you need to use Dow 33 Oil for a impulse. Is that true or can you use other kinds?

What extra stuff does the 32 Degrees Impulse have that the Smart Parts Impulse doesnt have?

Can the 32 Degrees impulse take Co2?

Use regular paintball gun oil in your asa. Out about one drop in there. Use a LITTLE bit of dow 33 on your bolt. You shouldnt have to lube your bolt often. the impulse works fine on c02. I personally would go with the smart parts impulse- its cheaper, and the same as the 32 except not colored and with out an inline reg. Make sure you never put oil anywhere else or anymore than 1 drop, it will leak in your solenoid and its gone forever.

if you upgrade impulse bolt with delrin style bolt you wont need the grease/oil at all. Delrin is self lubricating, only thing you will need is some hoppe's #9, add couple drops to asa or hose, dry fire marker 20-30x, and go, almost forgot, take barrel off before you do this, it tends to decrease your accuracy, a lot... for more info go to freak-factory.com, there is a list there of the baddest impulse you can buy and all its upgrades. Dont drool over it too long, ya may fry keyboard....heheheh. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The instructions that come with the impulse say not to use anything other than the grease that comes with the gun. You can buy it in big tubes from Smart Parts. They say specifically NOT to use regular oil.

don't use any oil, use dow 33 corning grease, when ya buy the gun ya get a lil' tube of it, and ya can get more from spartparts, and delrin bolt decreases effeciency(no o-rings) air can get through the delran if not matched up perfectly, so i would go w/ the stock bolt, or get one from imperial or freak factory, not just some delrin bolt from a no-name company.
and also i say get some type of solinoid optimizers

yea mac2k4 i think i no what ur talking about. I saw a delrin bolt on paintballgear.com but had no name brand. I thought it was a typo and forgot to put name.
Why would i get another Stock Bolt when its standard on the Imp?

A delrin bolt will reduce the kick because there is less mass moving around, and depending on the bolt face you might also get a wee bit more effency

If ya go to freak_factory.com, this is one the upgrades, also there is another company out, unsure of name, but they make the demonic impulse which also has the Delrin bolt, as a matter of fact AGD's super bolt has sleeve made of delrin.if i come across the website again i'll post it here.

i wouldn't use anything else but shocker lube(dow corning 33grease) it will void your warranty and could damage your gun if you need to know how to upkeep your gun here is a link http://www.smartparts.com/page/97

For a large amount of shocker lube that you can buy check out http://www.hypersportworks.com/ you get a large tube more than enough for your impulse.

Yes, if you got it for 450.00! Basically the gun is 500.00 new and add a 200.00 barrel system, i'd have to say you got a helluva deal. Next mod i would have done is the werm trigger, takes the slop out of the trigger.
