I've trying to be following the whole Q-Loader thing, but lately havenet seen anything new about it, and have left me clueless about it. Has it already been realeased to the public? If it has then has anyone hooked it up to their mag? And if you have hooked it up to your mag can I see some pictures on how it looks with it? If it hasent been released can anyone tell me an estimated date on when it will be released?

Yanking my own chain, but mine is mounted... I still
need to route the hose. I'm waiting for a pf long plug
to route it the way I want.

Cool, thanks. It doesnt look too bad on a mag, just that its longer than the barrel. Do you think that maybe you could post some pics on you running the pod verticaly instead of horizantly?WANTED: Y-Grip in good condition. X-Valve, or Retro Valve. PM me if you're selling one.Comment

Here you go...
Now that I mounted it, it's not too bad, but it
does kind of get in the way of my drop...

I'm really quite excited about it... At long last
I'll be able to cruise over to a game without needing
to stop at a store to buy a dozen 9 volt batteries!
As for speed, it's noticably faster than a Halo B...
Just shy of dangerously faster (if you don't preload
the stack full of paintballs, it'll go Splat when it
engages)... You can adjust your pre-tension which
will dictate how aggressively it loads... The video
clip isn't really stretching the truth much, though
you'd never be able to feed at 100bps because it has
to stop and reaccellerate for each paintball.
The instructions are irritatingly vague, but you can
easily figure out how things attach by staring at the
actual parts.Comment

The manual is something like 70 pages on qloader.com. I don't know how that could be vague at all.Originally posted by yaddatrance

Heh, buy one and you'll see what I mean... The manual
tends to skip steps... For example, the best way to
attach the tube to the loading pod. I'd say there were
no hair-pullers, but it felt a lot like following origami,
where they go from flat paper to bird in one step, whereas
in real life you'd have to do a complex fold. In the end
I said screw the manual and just installed it.
Reassembling the pods after disassembly is another area
where they could definitely stand to expand on. It felt
like they were being vague in order to avoid scaring people
away from buying it in the first place :)Comment

No prob, as far as the warp goes, the only problem
I have with it is how slow it is (compared to the
Halo and now the qloader) It's vaguely faster than
a 12V Revy.Comment

Vaugly faster than a revy? I think not. Have you ever owned a warp?Comment

Re: shot a warp?
Yes, I own one. Have you ever shot a qloader or a Halo?
I'm a paintball consumer whore. I have outshot
my warp, whereas I have yet to be able to outshoot
my Halo. The qloader feels an order of magnitude
faster, but I'm waiting until I shoot it in an
actual game before my approval of it.Comment

An addendum...
To be fair, I'm comparing it to the Pre-translucent BE era
revolution which does not do that weird stop-go-stop-go
feed pattern (The xboard also has much latency compared
to the original eye due to it's 40khz modulation to improve
error rejection).Comment
