E-MAG rate of fire??

Hey, I was looking through the E-MAG FAQ's on the AGD site, and it said something about there being a 13bps cap?!? Is this true? I dont want to be paying $800 for a 13bps marker, that is ridiculous. Sure it can shoot 20, but what is 20 if it only lets you shoot 13. please help me! is there really a 13 bps cap on the E-MAG??

The older software had a cap of 16 BPS. Now emags ship with 3.2 software which is capped at 20 BPS. But I really swear when I get ripping on it, it seems to go over 20 every so often!

3.2 is quite a bit faster as well do to the shot buffering software.The older software made it impossible to even hit the 16bps cap,but you can now slightly exceed the cap.

3.2 is the current software and what you should get on a new Emag if it's not old stock.If it doesn't have it,it's a simple software upgrade that can be done for free at an AGD attended event or for shipping cost to and back from AGD.

With a fast recharging bottle regulator, my v4.0 emag clocked 20bps (not cps) with a 20sps cap.

USAF Flyboy's (shoots a v4.0 Xmag) been known to outshoot his fully charged Halo B from time to time. I should know, I was there each time.

Except 4.0 beta has been pulled (for obvious ROF "enhancment")and he's not going to get 4.0 factory installed on a new Emag.

He didn't say anything about tweaks.

Physically, the emag can do the +20bps. A little "encouragement" definately doesn't hurt.

so...where can i get this v 4.0 software?? or is it not for sale...? i must admit i have a really fast trigger finger and im pretty sure i would enjoy the extra BPS :)

It was released only as a beta test and found have erractic performance and often added shots and/or went full auto in many cases.So it's been pulled,technically,from beta till the bugs can be worked out.

Who knows. All you need 3.2 for max speed.It has shot buffering and a 20bps cap,no other "legal" software version will be faster 3.2 4.0 really just added a few extra features,mostly just superficial things like a ROF counter and neat lights.But even the ROF counter is suspect since the software is fairly unreliable in regards to trigger pulls and shots fired.

Maybe they'll get it figured out.
