    intellifeed frying revy?

Alright guys my 2nd revy just bit the dust same problem as my first one. I hook up the intellifeed and I get about till my 3rd game with it and it craps out. It will still spin with the intellifeed, but the eye does not work. Now I just tried to run it with new batteries and it spins very slowly with the trigger pulled, and then it stopped never to return to life again, and the batteries were wicked hot when I pulled them out. Both of the revys were 12volts w/xboards. What the hell is goin on with my intelli?

sounds like you have some wires touching and a crossfeeding ...... Check the connections to see if any wires are touching other wires.

I dont think there are any wires touching. I soldered and shrink wraped them. The only thing i did different was I used a power plug like from a cell phone charger the female end I mounted just under the lid on that flat spot. The first revy I thought burnt out because I hit one of the connecters with the drill as I was making the hole, and had to solder a connection back on. But the second revy was a clean install.

The wires are not crossed at the plug even if they were it would just make the revy spin instead of having to go all the way to the switch.

I actually am just curious of the problem and i'm wondering if anyone else had problems like this. I've got my old school(pre-vision) imp, that I have a halo for.
