    RT Retro vs X-valve

Okay, so what's the difference between an RT Retro Valve and an X-valve?

x-valve comes with level 10 out of the box and is made with aluminum. That's pretty much the only difference.

So, if I have a level 10 already and I can get a retro valve for about $100 I should do it?

I would. The only advantage of the x-valve is it weighs a little less.

Well, the X-valve is a few months of saving away, and the Retro is available pretty quick for me. What do you think? Is the X-valve worth the wait and the extra money? Of course, the x-valve would be new whereas the retro is used.

Do you plan on adding the ult to it. If so then wait for the x valve, Otherwise I'd personally go with the retro.

Its only $15 to get the RT valve(if the valve needs it) milled out for the ULT. Mine is gone right now having this done.

No, I won't be gong ULT. I like my I-frame very much.

The only reason I'm replacing my classic valve is that I shoot it down now and then under rapid fire.

I just got my RT valve that will be replacing my minimag (classic) valve, And the rt valve is noticably lighter with it on the gun compared to the classic valve. I dont know i just felt like posting this, it could be use full. I was thinking saving a few bucks and get a rt valve instead of an X, but if u got the green then go for the X. Just my opinion. I hope this helps.

BTW the money u save can go towards something else.......

I say grab the RT while you can get it cheap. If you really decide you want an X when you save/come into some cake just use the Go X (I believe Tom still has it in the store). But that's just my opinion

Having the I-frame doesn't stop you from installing the ULT.

(/me thinks that AGD should have named the ULT something else, since everyone thinks it has something to do with the trigger frame)

I DID think the ULT was an entire trigger frame. So it's just a new on/off? Interesting. I will definitely give it another look. Thanks for clearing that up for me!
